Changing the patent reference

Find out how to change your patent reference on your platform

The default reference on your platform will always be the system reference number.

To change your patent reference:

  1. Log in to your platform
  2. Click on the ‘Settings’ tab that lies in the menu bar on the left
  3. Click on ‘Advanced Settings’ under Settings
  4. Click on ‘Platform Settings’ under Advanced Settings
  5. Then scroll down until you see the heading ‘Patent References’
  6. Select the Patent Number Reference and Family Reference you prefer to see on your platform
