Katalin Sólyom

Katalin Sólyom, Ph.D., is an Intellectual Property Manager at Gehring Technologies GmbH, where she has been overseeing patent strategy and portfolio management since 2020.

She has a strong academic foundation in chemical engineering, biotechnology, and environmental technology - including a Ph.D. from the University of Valladolid. She spent nearly five years as a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Fraunhofer Institute, working on EU-funded projects focused on biomass, extraction processes, and advanced bioengineering.
